Indian Prince - Portlaoise

Ordered here before and it wasn’t great. We decided to give this place another chance and see if it improved. Got pilau rice, lamb korma, vegetable korma and garlic bread. Popadoms were free with 3 dips and they were lovely. Rice was also nice. But then the garlic bread, tasteless and burnt underneath and hence gave the bitter taste. Now we get to the Korma, it was absolutely disgusting and looked like puke. I always get korma in Indian restaurants and it’s usually a nice colour and has flavour and taste of coconut too. This korma was dark drown in colour and looked so unappetising and tasteless. It went straight to the bin and I will never be ordering from this place again. Gave it a few chances as I wouldn’t like to judge a restaurant on one bad order but this place was consistently bad.

I consider myself fortunate to live near this restaurant. The food is delicious, the menu is extensive, and the staff is incredibly friendly! It's a fantastic spot to enjoy dinner with friends or simply pick up some takeout for yourself.

The meal was excellent and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It's not overly modern in its decor like some other places. The staff was friendly and the Vindaloo was the best I've had in a long time.

Excellent food, always great quality. The team are always helpful, making new recommendations and we get deliuvery we can enjoy it at home too. Love it here. Keep up the great food!
