O'dea's Bistro - Portarlington

The food was great and tasty. Staff was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had the fish , I had breaded hake, my other family members the battered cod. It was excellent . Services was efficient and friendly. Great ambience.

Excellent food and service. Great variety of traditional dishes, generous portions, and everything cooked to perfection. Comfortable setting outside and very friendly service. The Guinness was fantastic. One of the best places to eat in the County.

There are not too many placed to eat out in Portarlington especially since covid. We had a family meal here for 5 of us, some stakes, fish and ribs with deserts. The stakes where cooked as per our requirements and enjoyed, the Ribs were a plenty and fell off the bone. Chips, veg etc. All washed down with a pint or two, over all great experience and it came to €140 for 5 people.

I booked a table for myself, wanting to treat myself to a dinner and some drinks. I rang to book my table and upon arrival I was met by Kieran who couldn't have been nicer. They are top notch with Covid regulations.. All staff wearing masks, hand sanitisers, one way system. I had a Mexican wrap which was to die for. My desert was a pint of Corrs light.. Possibly the best I have ever had. A lovely friendly atmosphere here and even though I was on my own the locals made me feel very welcome. I shall return.
