The menu was limited, so I thought good, that means whatever they make is going to be good. Wrong! out of dinners were good. Why, I guess because it was fish and chips for the guys, and tacos for my friend,...but they were mostly cabbage and not tasty, and my budda bowl was tasteless. The carrots and beets were grated with no flavour at all, the only thing that tasted good was the edamame beans, avacado and quinoa. So disappointing. The service was excellent.

We recently went here for dinner with another couple. We sat in the sun on the deck overlooking the waters of Sproat Lake and were entertained by a group of house boaters gearing up and casting off while we waited over minutes in the...baking sun without even being served water before our drinks arrived. Not a great start, but this slower than average service seems to be becoming epidemic with Covid times staff shortages. Our waitress was awesome, but as there was no bartender on duty she kept getting pulled away to mix drinks and our service suffered as a result. Just be prepared going in, relax, enjoy the view and ask the waitress to bring you water when you are seated! I ordered the Thai Noodle Salad, which was really good! I added chicken to round out the meal, but it would have been fine without it. My husband ordered a two piece cod dinner, and our dining companion ordered the one piece. I was a little taken aback when they were served because the one piece came with a huge piece of cod, while my husband’s two smaller pieces probably equaled no more than that one piece….. he paid extra for a second piece so we weren’t too impressed. Also, our meals were served before the cutlery arrived so we sat waiting some more before we were able to dig in, LOL…. The food was tasty, prices mid-range, but a little high for pub food, IMO. A shared appy, drinks between the of us, plus the entrees came to with the tip.
