We went by chance and we were the only tourists. It is a local restaurant full of Azoreans. They treated us great and everything was delicious. Very economical. We found this inconceivable resto on the way from the thermal baths in Fererria and boy we were surprised! We were greeted by the cook (and the owners son-in-law sauch (sp. . He walked us friendly through the buffet options to do his best in English! I'm usually afraid of buffets, but that was really great. 3 types of beef, lamb, pork ribs, all in a traditional sauce, baked beans, potatoes, blood pudding, roasted mackerel and aal (the aal was also really good! And also a complete dish with fresh salad. Everything for $10 per, and it's all you can eat! Drinks and desert extra. We have a fresh crepe filled with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top, really delicious! This place is something out of the way, but it is worth it! Open only 4 days a week (W/T/S/S only for lunch. Great regional food with 5 star service and friendliness! Buffet plate served by the chef (all you can eat) only for 10€! We recommend!
