McDonald's - Ponoka

AVOID this place!! Manager was unbelievably rude and barely spoke English. Tried to tell him he had our order wrong and he refused to listen and fix it. Paid for a ton of food we never received. Large fries were half full and was never...offered dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. Absolutely horrible experience.

We occasionally eat here when we need something fast. When we order, it is usually wrong and then when you try to get it fixed, people don't understand because iof the language barrier. Ordered a junior chicken and it was raw on the inside. Phoned to correct it and they said "oh, no problem, no problem. You come back we give you free one okay". Yikes.

Just went through drive through and had nothing but problems. First they miss giving us our ketchup and nuggets dipping sause , then when we get the rest of order there are no straws or ketchup. Have to go inside and ask staff for straws and ketchup they told me to go get it myself from self serve area instead of helping me and walk away. How am I supposed to put open containers of ketchup in a to go bag. Really poor service all around

I was at this McDonald's today on my way through Ponoka. I accidentally left my phone and some cards on my car as I drove away. An hour later I realized this and called the restaurant. I talked to the manager and before I could even fully explain the situation she cut me off and told me it wasn't there. She was very rude on the phone and our conversation ended quickly. I called back because I was really upset at this point and asked her politely if she could step outside to check as I was parked right outside the door. Two seconds later sh said she was outside looking and there was nothing. She was really mad and screaming at this point. I hung up. Won't be going back to this McDonald's. Too bad because I like to stop there on my way through quite often.

Yes it is true! I get what I order! There are always straws in the bag! And dipping sauces. And forks if my son orders poutine! There are the right number of fries. It's amazing!
