Bidrage med feedbackMy history with Mama 's goes back to 1993 when I lived there for six months. The place that my friends and I would go for great food was Mama Inez 's (Mama 's). The chips and salsa (and beans) are fantastic with the salsa varieties all being outstanding in flavor at various heat levels. Unfortunately, I never tried anything else on the menu after having the Chili Colorado. The large plate with double beans is all I ever ordered since there was no reason to ever stray. Chili Colorado is something that I miss desperately from my (5) years that I lived out west. Everybody else also loved their meals every time. If you are passing by Idaho Falls on I 80 and see the Shilo Inn sign from the highway and are looking for a great Mexican menu, stop in and ask ANYBODY where Mama 's is located and the friendly folk of I.F. will point you (about 2 minutes off the highway) in the right direction. One thing that I forgot to mention (but not lost on me being from the Midwest and now living in Wisconsin): if the dish you ordered comes with cheese, be prepared for a cheese loaf on the top as the cooks don 't spare ingredients when they make their outstanding meals.
