Ming's - Pleasant Hill

We ordered take out last night and we ate it all. Prices are better than other places usually charge for similar dishes. Wife and kids go here alot, I haven't been it awhile but will be back again.

The Kung pao combo three was nothing Kung pao about it. Half of it was broccoli. There should not be any broccoli in a Kung pao dish. I understand this place caters to a certain demographic group, but you still need to respect the origin of the dish. The demographic they cater to are not as clueless as they may think.Meat is also way too over-marinated with baking soda, that's why the texture is overly soft. Very unhealthy for you.

The food and service were good. However, we were greatly disappointed that the waiter didn't bring us our change and let us decide how much of a tip to leave. More and more restaurants are just assuming you don't want change. So it is best to have a bunch of small bills with you or use your credit card.

The owner greets the guests kindly. The concept of hygiene seems to be good because hand sanitizer is provided on each table. The bathroom is also kept clean. The menu I ordered was that the chicken fried rice was slightly salty. (As my standard), the price is cheaper than other places. It's nice to have ample parking space.

All of their dishes are delicious. We eat here pretty often because they are in our neighborhood and they have great food!
