The Runway Cafe - Pitt Meadows

A friendly cafe at the Pitt Meadows Airport Terminal, very casual and no-nonsense. Menu is typical of any cafes with Soups and Sandwiches, also with salads that can be a light meal, half order is available. There are a good selection of baked goodies; cookies, bars, and various cakes. Ordered the Cobb Salad and a Grilled Turkey Sandwich, both were made to order and fresh, just right for a light lunch before the flight! Great addition to this small airport, the patio is a fantastic place for plane lovers, to sit and watch the action!! See photos for details...

Eggs and bacon were raw. Went for breakfast with my fiancé and was very disappointed. Googled breakfast places in area and saw this was a JRG place so couldn’t go wrong right?Worst restaurant ever. Complained to company and no response. Will never go to JGR restaurant again.

I highly recommend Cobb salad. Generous portions And the staff is friendly and courteous. We love cycling here because it’s so close to the Dykes we can continue cycling.

Delicious freshly made sandwich and soup. You never expect much from a small diner far away from competition but the Runaway Cafe is the exception. The nicest service and delicious food! And you get to seat outdoor and watch planes and helicopters take off! Now, that's totally awesome!

Absolutely adequate breakfast, though they had lovely sweets for desert. Nice reading material and definitely fun to be around the planes.
