Papichi - Pinecrest

My mother and I ate here last night, and felt that our experience warranted a warning to other potential diners. Although our waitress was very good and the atmosphere was OK, the food quality, especially in light of the prices was sub-par, to say the least. My mother ordered the lasagna- the small portion she was received was dry and not flavorful at all- we thought it looked like yesterday 's leftovers. And for $16- we expected much better- and at least a salad or a side dish. I had the Chicken Marsala- which was not bad- but the fresh vegetables that accompanied it were not exactly fresh. There was a hunk- and I do mean hunk- of broccoli that was partially frozen! We did not order from the bar or from the dessert menu, so I cannot comment on those offerings. I was really disappointed- had hoped that the food at this self-billed Brazilian-Italian restaurant would be just that- and unfortunately, it was not.

Best caprese salad anywhere!! Only bad thing is the parking is pretty limited.

Best Italian I have ever eaten and I have eaten in quite a few superb Italian restaurants having come from a part of Pennsylvania with a huge Italian population. My girlfriends and I could not have been more pleased, we will definitely return (many times). Kudos to the owner, chef and staff.

This is a new place that is worth trying. It is not pretentious and the prices are reasonable. Watch them make the pizza behind the glass window. Good bread and a nice selection of tasty pizzas.
