This place seems curry pot very similar. I would be curious to place their menus next to each other to see if they are not identical; I guess they're sister restaurants. as such, coriander has the same pros and cons tons vegan choice, decent, but not great quality, and a well-marked menu. a solid choice, especially for lunch specialties. I had the chana masala with naan certainly a satisfying and fill lunch for $3.5
Coriander continues to offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, but they have recently added meat dishes to their menu as well.
Of course to be fair we cannot be sure that by wife 's Delhi belly that started 40 minutes after we ate there was due to the food there.....but it 's reasonable to be suspicious. The sad decor and ambience were not enough to put us off the tasty food that crosses western and Indian culinary boundaries at very reasonable prices.
The young man running the place knew what vegan meant and made sure that everything we ordered was made vegan, or with their naan, which has milk in it, he steered us away from it. I'm always worried about that with Indian restaurants, so it was a relief having that cleared up in Cambodia. My wide and I had aloo paratha and two dishes from the tandoor. The aloo paratha was standard (which is good). The tandoor item were excellent. It was refreshing to get some spicy food after eating mostly Cambodian food for a week.
