Backyard Cafe - Phnom Penh

This is a beautiful hangout with good Wi-Fi. Beautiful staff who understand enough English Good choice of deserts and raw healthy foods.

I came here only once at my stay in Phnom Penh because the BKK1 branch of the same restaurant was much closer to where I stayed. You have identical menus, and the one meal I got here was just as good. Many clearly marked vegan options are available, and it is fresh and healthy. I would have been much more here if it were closer to my room.

I had the US$10 special (main side, drink), plus a Matcha Latte smoothie and a coffee. It's delicious. View the refrigerators for bottled drinks, desserts, dips, sauces, etc. There are some good things to take home. Note: There are 3 Backyard Café locations. I went to the river bank. You have good vegan options. Large selection of healthy desserts. The food here is very expensive, so we for the most part stopped the food here. The restaurant lets us smell after eating (bad kitchen ventilation) and the sound of the refrigerator on the ground floor is very loud.

OMG this place is amazing. The staff are young, welcoming and polite. The food is so flavourful, it had my tastebuds in knots. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-08
