Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant on Saturday evening with a friend to celebrate his birthday. Upon arrival, the restaurant was about two-thirds full. Our server was friendly, but we had to wait nearly 15 minutes for our glasses of wine. We ordered appetizers, but after about 20 minutes, our server informed us that they were out of the yellow potato cake, which was a key component of some of the appetizers. We had to change our order as a result. The appetizers finally arrived after 45 minutes, but we were given the wrong empanadas – one chicken and one cheese instead of the beef ones we ordered. Our entrees took over an hour to arrive, as one of the cooks had called in sick. Although the food was decent, it did not make up for the delays and poor service we experienced. The entrees were not as well-seasoned as the appetizers, and the garnish of a single black olive and a small wedge of hardboiled egg was unappetizing. Despite wanting to like the restaurant due to my love for Peruvian food and positive reviews, I was disappointed by the lack of attention and poor management. I may give it another chance in the future, but the issues we faced went beyond just being short-staffed due to a sick cook.
Our first lunch visit was fantastic! Everyone at our table loved their meals. It's refreshing to discover a family-owned restaurant that goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. You can tell they truly love what they do. We will definitely be back! The drive from Windsor was worth it, and our friends from Marin also enjoyed themselves. Do yourself a favor and support this restaurant!
The service at this restaurant was excellent! While I found the dishes slightly disappointing, that could be because I'm a vegetarian. I do wish they had veggie empanadas on the menu. I'll be trying the Peruvian fried rice on my next visit. And the alfajores were absolutely delicious!
I wasn 't feeling well and the waiter recommended 'Aguadito '. Wonderful Peruvian variety of chicken soup with cilantro and rice. It was amazing. Served with canchita (dried corn) on side and of course, an Inca Cola. Very clean inside. Excellent cuisine. Great next stop in Petaluma.
Fun place to try new food. The server was very enthusiastic about the experience. Tried the quinoa salad and the lamb. Both were lovely. Wine list was surprising local and continual represented.
