Bidrage med feedbackI stumbled across this restaurant on Yelp while looking for a place to eat. With all the positive reviews, we decided to give it a try. My mom, spouse, and I collectively ordered the traditional beef, spicy beef, steak cheese, ham cheese, spinach artichoke, and curry tofu. All three of us enjoyed the food and thought it was tasty and flavorful. The ham cheese empanada was a bit salty but ham has a tendency to be like that so I don 't fault the restaurant for that. The curry tofu had a little bit of sweetness to it and different than what we 're accustomed to. (Curry is usually spicy and savory, not sweet. This is a family-owned and operated restaurant. There is no in-door seating. There are a few outside tables. The female owner was very nice and friendly. Our order came with some complimentary dahlia flowers, which were very pretty. We ordered a dozen empanadas, got the dozen discount, and the total cost was $45.00. At an average cost of $15 per person, I wouldn 't classify this as inexpensive food. All things considered, I would recommend this place and would eat here again if in the area.
Finally made it to Vinoma and it was DELICIOUS!! The owner was so friendly and helpful and there were beautiful dahlias from their garden given out with each order. But, most importantly, the empanadas were EXCELLENT. We were a group of four vegetarians and we each tried the one vegan curry tofu) and three vegetarian empanadas creamy corn; spinach artichoke; and caprese). Each was cooked to perfection and really, really flavorful. For dessert we had the apple crisp; blueberry cobbler; and peach empanadas and each was wonderful. The food is served as takeout i.e. in a box, not on plates) but there is a patio with a few tables if you want to eat it there. We are already planning a return visit and I can't recommend this place enough!!
Great take home service, no place to dine in. We appreciate the veg options and good sauces.
This is just for takeout. If you want to stay and eat there there's only 3 outdoor tables. I've always wanted to try it though, so we got a box of a variety of empanadas. There's all kinds of fillings. They're very nice and give you a beautiful flower with your order. By far my favorite was the Al pastor.
We drove 94 miles one way to eat here and it was worth it!! Delicious empanadas!! We had all of the vegetarian ones, the vegan one, and the apple crisp. They were all perfection. ?
