Joes Family Pizzeria - Pembroke

I used to like coming here, sorry Joe but the staff you have here now is totally ridiculous. The worst family experience I’ve had here. The ladies were rude, slow, they seemed lost and…. Totally charged me some ridiculous bogus prices. Hire new staff!

I have driven past this pizzeria for years and always noticed the many awards and accolades displayed out front. Finally, on Friday, November 10, 2023, I decided to give it a try. I took advantage of their online ordering feature and placed my order at 2:47 PM for a 6 PM pickup time. Unfortunately, I did not receive an email confirmation and had to call to check. When I arrived at 5:42 PM, I paid for the pizza and it was immediately handed to me. Despite living only 2 minutes away, I was disappointed to find a flat, cardboard-like pizza inside the box that looked nothing like the advertised photos. It appeared to be a day-old pizza that had been left out. After reluctantly taking one bite, I had to throw it in the trash. The photos attached were taken within 5 minutes of picking it up.

Sorry, I love Joe's pizza kits and thought we would try their pizza for our group about 2 weeks ago. We ordered two pizzas and one was completely burnt. They said they would remake ONE pizza. We had already waited 30 mins and our group wad hungry. One pizza would be cold and one remade waiting another 30 mins? Confused we asked if there was something else they could do and instead offered $5 off our next order of pizza and only offered because we asked. (Maybe comp one pizza or throw in a box of wings or something to make it right. So my guests ate burnt pizza and $5 off another order? I wouldn't reorder burnt pizza. Sad about this as we are new to the area and thought we could find our new place for pizza. Won't be here.

Our order was wrong, we ordered a deep dish and received a a hard thin crust. Pizzas were both burned and were stale. Plus pizzas were over priced beyond disappointing ?
