Bidrage med feedbackDined here in May of 23 with a large work group. Since it was a large group, the restaurant was closed just for us and we had 2 salad and 3 menu entrée options to choose from. Let me start off with the good, the Caesar salad. This Caesar salad was very delicious and enjoyable and was topped with some tasty homemade croutons. It left me very excited to receive my entrée, which came 30-45 minutes after I was done with my salad. I opted for the chicken marsala which was described as followed: Pan braised chicken supreme, topped with marsala wine reduction, sautéed mushrooms served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The chicken seemed baked in an oven. Unseasoned, dry and hard, wayyyyy overcooked. The mushrooms, not sautéed and I have no idea where they think their marsala sauce is true to the Italian classic. It tasted like canned tomato paste more than anything else. If you compare my photo of this dish to any other chicken marsala image on google, you can see for yourself that this is noting close to even resembling the Italian staple. The garlic mashed potatoes had no taste of garlic whatsoever. What's worse is that they were lumpy, hard and dryer than that Sahara. The veggies, boiled and flavorless. Even when I receive bad food, I usually can get through most of it. This plate however, I could not even get through a quarter of it before I threw in the towel. I don't recommend you dine here when in the area. Over 70 bucks after a beer and tip later, I had to go get dinner elsewhere.EDIT (Response to Owner):I didn't say May 23rd. I said May of 23, meaning May 2023. Since you seem confused, I looked it up and it was May 16th 2023, to be exact. That would be 4 months ago, not 3 as you said. I see your math and professionalism are just about as good as your food. Interesting.
I can't say enough good things about Anthony's Italian Grill. The food was fresh and amazing. The service was fast ,friendly, efficient and extremely polite(Great job Hannah). This place is classy, yet not out of reach of most people. I highly recommend trying Anthony's. I'm going back again and again until i sample the whole menu.
Last Saturday night I had what was quite likely the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was top notch, the atmosphere is always amazing. The chicken pesto fettuccine.... absolutely done perfectly. Whoever cooked it deserves a Nobel prize or something, it's three days later and I still crave more. Too many good things to say, amazing. For as long as we are in Pembroke this will be our go to place to dine. Well done!Additional details: went back again two nights ago, absolutely amazing again, they keep raising the bar and exceed it everytime, spend your money at Anthony's folks, they do not disappoint ever.
Impressed, starting with the wine selection, they hit the 2 best northern region (in my mind) for red wine; Piedmont and Veneto (they also have a Classico). Appetizer, nothing to complain but a classic Italian prosciutto based amuse bouche would wrap their menu. I had the veal bocconcini which I was slightly skeptical for the amount of salt but was surprise of the balance, didn't feel the rush between the sauce, cheese, prosciutto and veal (Vedge slightly overcooked). My wife add the butternut squash lune, once again a well balance plate. Lastly, not a complaint but, they have 2 meals with risotto has side, I wounder if they could add a meal in their menu with only risotto. Will definitely go back
We were there on Prime Rib Friday. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for tasty prime rib.
