Vecchia Padova

I rarely leave negative reviews, but last night the treatment I received was such that I did not hold back. I already knew the place and the quality has always satisfied me so I invited friends who did not know it. However, after the first courses we waited over 40 minutes for the second courses and seeing nothing arrive we first asked the staff and then the manager for information. I would have expected a polite apology and prompt action to resolve the situation. Instead we got aggressive and anything but polite replies, and after another 15 minutes, not receiving any reassurance or anything else, we left. And here is the most negative fact. We went to pay what we owed and with an air of condescension the manager told us that we would pay nothing and could leave by making a 'get out of here ' hand gesture. It seems to me that for a customer this rudeness and condescension is totally unacceptable, so I 'll never be seen again and I 'll tell this episode to all my Italian and foreign friends who frequent Padua.

58 EUR for 2 including 2 courses each and alcoholic drinks. Nice quality, self service, hence quick. Fresh food because their turnover is huge. Perfect especially for families, and seemed to be full of locals. If the Milk Bar is closed, come here ; P.S.: the pizza with french fries on top made us shudder, but children do eat the weirdest things...for adults, the radicchio lasagna will work just fine.

Visited this restaurant a couple of times because we enjoyed the food so much. Fillet of beef was meltingly tender, and stuffed calzone was huge! Friendly staff, too.

Nel centro storico di Padova questo ristorante è un buon indirizzo dove mangiare il tipico patavino e il classico Veneto. L'ambiente è caldo e accogliente in stile anni con numerose macchine da cucire, macchine da scrittura, radio e altri ricordi in stile moderno come accessori d'arredo. il personale è gentile e disponibile e affabile con i clienti che li fanno sentire a casa. Considerando che lo abbiamo visitato in diverse occasioni nel corso degli anni, affermiamo che la qualità dei piatti è costantemente buona e le porzioni sono soddisfacenti. per tenere a mente se siete in città!

Un luogo incantevole e perfetto. buon cibo, buone pizze e personale cordiale e premuroso. qualità prezzo nello standard.
