Nathaniel's Restaurant - Owen Sound

The place is now called papi’s. simpleness and a natural smile are the name of the game. Eating was easy, healthy and tasty started with tomato soup with French toast. continue with poached bass. ends with cream brulee. everything was perfect. the service was made with a smile and gentle humor. great place.

Nathaniel is already closed. a new restaurant called papi’s eatery goes in, but has not yet opened, so don’t go looking for nathaniel’s!

We had a gift certificate to use and used the good weather to visit nathaniel. the lunch menu was large. my wife had speck wrapped scallops followed by calf meat. I had French twirl soup followed by fresh white fishing. they had a good choice of wine. we pampered with cheesecake and pancakes. tee was lined in a real pot. the service was great and lunch very pleasant.

Our friends, my man and I had a nice dinner here. the food was delicious and the service was excellent. what a beautiful place for a romantic dinner, or a special occasion dinner. we will come next time after owen sound!

We have been coming to the Owen Sound area for the last few years and just found Nathaniel's...and how we didn't find it before alludes us but we definitely plan on becoming regulars. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, the service was impeccable and the food...was delicious. Surf and turf was our pleasure this evening and it was cooked to perfection. The wine selection is plentiful and the price point was excellent. From start to finish it was a pleasurable dining experience that we look forward to experiencing again.
