Yakumido Curry Rice - Osaka

The restaurant is a small and easy to find place on the street corner. Three restaurant seats 5 and has a cozy atmosphere. There are three options: curry beef, vegan curry, or half. I have half and two curries that we have delicious. The owner is very polite and well spoken, it was a pleasure to talk to him as we enjoyed our meals. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you stop by for some great Japanese curry!

This is by far the best curry I had on this trip to Osaka! The flavors were perfectly balanced and it went well with the whisky recommended by the cook. He's also a whisky aficionado so he knows his whisky. And don't worry about not speaking Japanese, the cook speaks perfectly English. He will even translate for you if you need it. I had a great time here and will definitely come back. Thanks Kaz!

Fantastic cosy restaurant. Had a great conversation with the owner and he’s very welcoming. Not to mention the curry is fantastic! I’ll definitely return if I’m ever in Osaka again.

Good food and the owner is really friendly. Nice environment to have a hot meal and a cold beer in addition to the great pricing. Worth coming here if one is ever craving a good curry dish.

This restaurant has great vegan curry. The chef let us try his plum wine which was smooth and delicious. Great conversations and learnt a lot about Curry from the chef.
