It was very fun to experience the concept of a maid cafe. The maids were engaging and you could see that they were really enthusiastic about their work. People sometimes misunderstand what a maid cafe is, but to me, it is no different from other themed cafes. If you are curious about a maid cafe, would strongly recommend you to give it a try. You will be able to see their passion for the job and will likely be pleasantly surprised.

Went with my family it was my wife’s suggestion, of all people), and was totally prepared to be weirded out by some creepy clientele. That said, there was a variety of people there and it was a fun and expensive experience. We got 4 dessert sets, which was an hour at the place, 4 EXTREMELY delicious parfaits, and 4 pictures with the maids who were all dressed in Santa-themed outfits because it was Christmas Eve…yes, I know, my wife wanted to go there on the 24th with me and our two young daughters). It was about $110 ¥12,000) for one hour, but some random guy paid the maids to “treat the foreigners” to a dance performance, so we managed to eek out 90 minutes there on a strange technicality.
