Shorty Pants Lakeside Cajun Marina

Ordered a filet medium and received the steak well done when the waitress Stephanie came back to ask us how our meal was I simply told her that I ordered my steak medium and it was well done in a polite manner and told her I would still eat it since we had plans and couldn’t wait for another steak. She proceeded to take my plate from out in front of me. I had to take the plate back out of her hands and she walked away. Meanwhile, another person of our party did not receive his appetizer and was unable to communicate that with her as she stormed off. She returns to our table to ask about dessert and states “Did you guys save any room for any dessert- if it comes out burnt it’ll still be okay to eat.” She attempted to make it right by taking off the steak and appetizer off of my husband and I’s tab and the appetizer off of the other member of our party’s tab. Ultimately if she had refrained from the comment she wouldn’t have to make adjustments to the tab because I offered to eat the steak. I understand that the kitchen crew maybe new but constructive criticism is imperative in the food business.

Traveling across country and stopped for gas. Asked a Local for a good place to eat. After a few minutes he mentioned SHORTY PANTS. He said the food was good , but must have been CRAZY, the food was grate. Even better than that. I had a bowl of GUMBO and it was fantastic. So I decided to try them.Getting to the restaurant was a little different, but I'll let you discover that for yourself.Place was very clean and the atmosphere was out of bounds. Waitress was very polite and very clean looking. My visit was quick so I didn't have much interaction with her. She gave me the address of the restaurant and I promise you all, if I get near this place I'm stopping in.My only complaint would be that I don't live next door to this place. The menu sounded fantastic, I would be trying it all.

Loved the food, the vibe and the location! Felt like we were back in the bayou.

Served our food cold. Almost 1 hour to get food at the table from ordering. wasn’t even busy. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all

Takes a while to get our orders done the sashimi arrived hard cold.
