Bidrage med feedbackLast year we enjoyed Michaels for our New Years Eve dinner so we thought we would do it again this year. We were looking forward to the great food and service we had received before only to be very disappointed. Our service was poor. I am gluten and dairy free and the waitress didn't even register that fact when I told her. She brought crutons on my salad after I had specified no gluten. Then she also brought out the dessert and put it in front of me after I had told her once again, no dairy or gluten. Also, other members of our groups steaks and chicken entrees were not cooked properly. The chicken was under cooked. And the steaks were burnt on the outside, while cold on the inside. We sent the steaks back only to have them brought back out looking not burnt, but still raw in the center. The manager acted mad towards guests at our table. Overall, this was a poor experience. Not how we planned to spend our new years eve. And to top it off, it was a set menu, so everything should have been prepared to perfection.
Four of us went to celebrate 3 b'days 2017. Prime rib good. Fillet very good. Both ribeyes were tough. Flavor good. Brought most of both of them home for dogs. So tough had to cut them in small bites even for the small dogs. Waiter didn't even ask how things were. It had been awhile since I'd been there. Took people who had never been. Big mistake. Appetizers baked potato very good. Overall, very disappointed. I fell as I was leaving restaurant. Very dark steps that are hazardous. One young man that I believe worked there very nice concerned. No follow up tho. Kneecap , ankle wrist hurt. Restaurant would benefit from more attention to its overall dining experience.
A summer regular here. Decided to try over the Christmas Holidays. Food consistently good. Enjoyed the indoors Christmas decoration. Love this place but just a little pricey food and wine.
I had been to Michael's with a large group a couple times before and wanted to go back with my husband. But, this visit the restaurant looked very tired and worn. The food was delicious, but workmen were painting the outside during our dinner and bright lights were in our eyes.
We have enjoyed Michael's for many years. We visit on Birthdays and Anniversaries and have always been very happy with everything which is why we come back; On October 23, 2016, we were enjoying all of the great things offered by Michael's;Wonderful outdoor ambience, the main reason we came back to this location after 30 years or so ago being our last visit; we lived in different places, etc......Clos du Bois Chardonnay; Wonderful appetizer escargot, with some changes noted since last visit in June; a beautiful Lobster Tail; glazed pork chops were just wonderful; and salad was great with Blue Cheese Crumbles which we thoroughly enjoy! We highly recommend this location/restaurant with indoor/outdoor options for dining, to everyone! Thanks for a Beautiful Birthday Celebration!
