Forage - Orangeville

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service provided by Simone was exceptional. She was friendly, helpful, and sincerely wanted to ensure we had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful experience! We received a warm friendly welcome. We were seated in a sweet spot for our birthday dinner. Great eclectic atmosphere with different pieces of art. The butter chicken, curried seafood entrees were so good, but the thai muscles and grilled calamari were delicious! The arctic char was not available by 6:30, but they offered salmon in its place. The dessert choices were great (but none as a gift for birthdays; however, they will provide a candle if you like). Our server was incredible as they navigate the 4 hour opening with grace accommodation.

It's a very small space with lots of tables so not much space to move around. The food was good. I ordered crab cakes and a cob salad. Both these meals were cooked in a way I could have easily made myself at home. It's a good place to get homecooked meals but way overpriced for something I could easily make at home. When I received my cob salad, I was very confused. There was no corn or avocado in it, there was chicken in it without it being said on the menu description, and the onions were white onions instead of the normal red onions. Also presentation of the salad was great but not practical when eating it. The onions were massive still, egg slices pretty large as well as the tomato pieces. I had to cut my salad before I could eat it. Overall it just felt like a confusing experience and no offer to pay less for the lack of items I had on my salad that I was supposed to get.

This restaurant in Orangeville is cozy and offers delicious food at reasonable prices! The staff is friendly and provided quick service. We tried the crab cakes, grilled calamari, and shrimp tacos, all of which were delicious!

We went to the restaurant for dinner and it was nearly empty with only one other couple there. The service was poor - when our appetizers arrived, they were greasy and not enjoyable. We informed our waitress, but she simply took the dishes away without offering a replacement. My husband's sandwich for the main course was soggy and inedible, so he sent it back. On a positive note, my salad was very good. When we received the bill, we noticed that we had been charged full price for both the appetizer and the main course. After bringing this to their attention, they only offered to charge us half price for the main meal after watching the cook pick through it. Overall, we were not impressed with the service and felt poorly treated throughout our dining experience.
