Bluebird Cafe - Orangeville

We stopped because we were in town for a wedding …the restaurant is beautiful ,and was very busy ..the service here is top notch .extremely friendly and efficiently run …the owners take time to visit and chat …10 out of 10 ! For this family run restaurant!!

We haven't got out much since 2019 but we decided to go to the Bluebird in O'ville for lunch today. Our server, Denise, was terrific. We only ordered two things and they were both great. A very enjoyable experience. Compliments to the whole team at the Bluebird.

Staying with friend in Orangeville, we always dine at the Bluebird when visiting from Liverpool, England. Changed owners since last visit, but food as good if not better than ever. As the food is freshly prepared to order, I was able to order the fettuccini chicken primavera without the sun dried tomatoes, and with penne instead of fettuccine. The stir fried vegetables were delicious and perfectly cooked. One of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted- and we holiday in Italy frequently. My bluebird cocktail was lovely, and topped off with the tasty dessert of banana in filo pastry served with ice cream. Visited with my husband (who thoroughly enjoyed his seafood cannelloni, stuffed with sea food), our daughter and our friend who were all very impressed with their food and the service. Our server, Melody, is a credit to the restaurant. Friendly and helpful, not to mention amusing. If only we didn’t live 3,000 miles away, I would be here every week.

Whenever we are in Orangeville we always make it a point to go to the Bluebird. It is always a great evening out with excellent food and excellent service. If you love mussels, you really need to try them with the sauce which is heavenly. Pasta with scallops is also one of my favourites. I can also recommend the sizzling mushrooms as well. I think pretty much anything you chose will make you very happy. Oh and DON'T skip dessert! Jessica was our server and was as pleasant as could be. Rick stops by every table to greet guests and when he found out we are from Ottawa, he recommended a place which we knew about here but had never visited. He even texted the owner, whom he knows, to find out about vegetarian options for my husband. The atmosphere, service and food is second to none at the Bluebird and we will never miss a visit there whenever we return. Thanks Jessica, for making our evening so enjoyable!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely lunch at the Bluebird Cafe and Grill while we were in Orangeville for the weekend. We had been there before, but not for a while as we moved out of the area. I cannot say enough good things about the service and the food. We were greeted at the door by the owners Rick and Michelle and were made to feel welcome immediately. Orangeville was very busy that day, but we managed to get a seat at the bar where Amanda served us. She is lovely. Very personable and friendly. We decided on the bruschetta, the soup of the day (tomato/basil) and a caesar salad with chicken. Needless to say everything was absolutely delicious!! Portions are large and ingredients are plentiful. If you are in the area, this is the place to eat. I heard from a very good source that reservations, especially for dinner are a must.
