This place is just great! The owners were so friendly and treated my family and I like old friends when we went to the door. We came here on a Friday night and could eat a delicious soup (the French onion was sooo good! sandwiches, hot dogs, a chili dog and of course ice cream. Besides the food, Gandy Dancer also sells old toys and games, candy and other fun and unique gift ideas. Live music just added to the evening. It was fantastic! The musician played his guitar and singed many different music, including Christmas songs. Overall, we had a lot of fun at Gandy Dancer. My children took books and read them (there is much to choose! . My husband, I and my mother spoke with bonuses, one of the owners, for some time. She had so much fun talking about it. Anyway, come here! You'll love it! Thank you. Gandy Dancer! We will definitely see you again!

What a beautiful place to sit and relax with an ice cream or a soda! The first time we've been there since the new owners. We wanted ice cream and we like to support a small local business. Looks like they have live music on weekends!

Guys, this place is amazing!!! It is a sweet little ice cream and soda shopping with sandwiches, coffee, tea and soup as well. You have games, candy and books! I tried the Reuben sandwich (a tradition of my German roots) and it was sensational! I could taste each of the flavors individually and the whole was delicious and perfect! I had mine with potato salad and fruit. The fruit was only green grapes, but they were not bitter as they are usually. The potato salad was creamy and tasty with potatoes and some peppers above. For the ice I tried a ton of flavors before I set up on Aggie Space Debris and Orange Sherbet. The selection was excellent and the ice was sooo good. Look at this little hidden jewel!

So a fun place!!! Sad to see how the hours are cut back again, try this place and keep it open!! Fun atmosphere, you can take the family or friends and just sit and read or play a board game while you enjoy some delicious ice cream. My daughter is absolutely LOVES the burger she got for lunch on a day!!

This is a very cool place. We went there for ice cream with the family and the place awesome. It is a unique little place and it has many cool little things one can look at.
