Halibut House - Oakville

I ordered two pick-up orders of fish and chips and a side order of fries. They gave us a large amount of french fries instead of the specified items. The portions of fries were huge and seemed to be stale. I couldn't believe they had the audacity to serve such bad food. I regret spending my money here. The 15% gratuity added to the bill was not deserved as the food killed the mood and nobody really enjoyed it. It was a shameful experience.

I visited the Oakville location on Dundas and Trafalgar on February 22nd to place an order for 10 servings of the Monday special: fish and chips for $9. An older Asian woman was using her phone and took a minute to acknowledge the only customer in the restaurant. When I mentioned that I wanted to order the Monday special for $9, she rudely informed me that there were no specials at that location. I pointed out that the website advertised the special, but she insisted there were no specials available. Despite being ready to place a large order, I decided to leave. The woman sarcastically wished me a nice day as I exited the restaurant. It's true what they say - people are quick to share negative experiences over good ones. Today, this restaurant lost out on over $100 because of their lack of customer service. I will not be returning. Cheers!

We sampled a variety of dishes at Healed and Ridden, which was more than enough for each of us. The restaurant is no frills, but the simple layout lacks ambiance. The portions are generous and delicious, especially the horse meat. The fish is well-prepared with a light batter that is not greasy. The prices are fair.

The good news is that the parts are big and the riders are good. the food is fat and smells like old cooking oil. their website has been updated to display only participation, but still shows specials on Sundays and montages. on the arrival, on a Sunday, I am honestly told not any specializations, even though the website says the opposite.

Very delicious and large servings. Friendly service and good value. Lots of menu choice and your meal comes very quickly.
