Bidrage med feedbackHad to check this place out while I was in town. After waiting about 15 minutes for a few slices and almost $20 later, I had a slightly above average slice.
The slices are good but when you order a Pie, it's not. They don't seem to stretch the dough as thin for the take out pizza orders which changes the overall taste. At $4.50 a slice they're almost becoming not worth it.
We had a great dinner at Gios. Never a bad experience. The food was awesome and the service even better. Thank you Gio Family.
The pizza was awesome. Right amount of sauce to cheese. The spaghetti with redclam sauce was awful. No seasoning in the sauce. Sauce had a orangey color. Egg plant had too much cheese and was dry. We have been going to gios since 2000. Food was always awesome. The thing that changed is the old guys are gone. They knew how to cook, they would come out of the kitchen and talk to staff and customers, and would get a glass of wine from the bar. A new generation of Giordano is running the place now. Hopefully they can come up to speed and run it like their fathers and uncles.
Overpriced AF but at least it's edible.
