The slangengrube with the pool table area is a nice place to have a meal and a game of the pool. love eating here too!

We went to dinner when we were in the tourist park on the road. we had read some mixed reviews about the place, but we decided to give it a try. looks like a great place with a story, but I would not recommend. eating. we suspect that eating was not made fresh as we could hear the microwaves in the kitchen drink.

The food at this restaurant is well-prepared and delicious, but it is on the pricier side. The service was excellent, especially from Narelle who even worked on her birthday! I enjoy the charm of this old country pub with its creaky boards. I would have given it 5 stars if the outdoor beer garden was in better condition, as some of us prefer to dine outside, especially during COVID-19.

We all had a great meal, despite reading some negative reviews beforehand. The dishes we ordered included lamb roast, steak burger, and chicken roast fry. The staff was friendly, the prices were fair, and we all had a lovely evening. We sat in the beer garden outside, enjoying the beautiful evening.

Possibly the first disappointing meal at this usually great little pub. Meals took 40 minutes (7 of us) and we were told there was a big takeaway order just before us. That order went past us 5 meals. Considering two of our meals were...serves of fries and the hotel wasn 't very busy this meal was too slow. Serve was on the small side (grilled fish and vegetables) and my broccoli was a little brown. Hoping this was just a bad night.
