Bidrage med feedbackMy husband, son, daughter-in-law and I thought we would try Dornoch Tap & Grill for the first time late last night. My husband ordered greek salad, chicken wrap & fries, my son ordered a burger & fries, my daughter-in-law ordered a turkey sandwich & fries. All three were finished their meals before I received my order of a Quesadilla! Although, the server apologized for forgetting to put in my order, she laughed when saying that the chef said it would only be 10 minutes, she laughed and said - he lied. Aside from that, the food was good. Don't think I will go back.
Stopped in after golf in Collingwood. It's just a few minutes south of town on Hwy 124. We were just looking for some quick grub and a cold beer. The menu offered many more options than expected. Really good home made food in a nice country roadhouse decor. A nice Pub with very good food. we shall return.
Grandparents love nothing more than treating their grandchildren. That's what took my wife Nancy and me to the Dornoch Tap and Grill restaurant in Nottawa, Ontario, recently. We have been here before and enjoyed it.With two teenaged granddaughters, we went for lunch in this roadside restaurant in the heart of this little village. The décor is roadhouse-like with a television going and sports banners visible. Seating is either at tables, with free-standing chairs, or in booths alongside windows which look out at the street. We chose a booth.Brenda was our server and did an outstanding job.For the four of us, the food breakdown was as follows: two iced tea, one large chocolate milk, one diet Coke. There are regular specials shown on a board at this restaurant and ham and cheese sandwich with fries was one of them. Soup of the day was turkey-vegetable and it was very hearty. One granddaughter had mac and cheese with a salad ($16.95) and another granddaughter had chicken tenders (breaded strips of chicken) ($12.95). Somewhere, somebody ordered a Greek salad too!Nancy had stuffed Yorkshire puddings. These, they call “Yorkies” and they come four to a serving stuffed with shredded beef and gravy $12.95).I had their lunch feature, ham and cheese on a bun, with French fries. The feature cost $10.00 and I opted for the soup too at $5.95.The meals were delivered cheerfully all at once, which is nice because then patrons get to eat together. The total invoice, including tax, was $81.93 and we agreed that we had enjoyed more than a lunch; it was more like a dinner each!We would return to the Dornoch, which is just minutes' drive south of Collingwood on Highway 124.
Visited for business after referral from co worker and was happy I did. Have been back numerous times over 2 weeks and everything we've tried had been great.
I agree with another reviewer in that the schnitzel was amazing. In fact, we all enjoyed our meals. It is reasonably priced and the service was excellent.
