Munay Peruvian Food - Norwalk

The first time I visited this restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious. However, my second visit with some coworkers was disappointing. The taste was mediocre and the rice was extremely hard. We couldn't enjoy the meal because the rice felt cold, as if it had not been properly heated.

My husband and I walked in in a very good mood excited to try this new food place for us. We were greeted with terrible service and nothing but straight faces which just got worst as time went on. Not to pull the race card, but the couple that came inafter us got greeted delightfully. We ordered our food and 1 item off kids menu which came out after my husband and I finishedour food. It?s a shame because their food was great, however, we won?t be going back based on their service and attitude towardsus.

I've gotten food here multiple times. And I highly recommend it. Not only is the food good, but even though the restaurant is on the pricier side, the portion sizes more than make up for it. Customer service is a bit of an issue but if you get take out youdon't have to deal with it

Food was very tasty, however they have to work on customer service. The environment feels like eating out at McDonald?s. If they put much effort on the food, they should also put the same effort on creating a welcoming environment and better place to matchthe quality of the food. Won?t be coming back.

We have only tried Peruvian food a few times before, so we decided to visit Munay to sample the cuisine once again. We were not disappointed! The menu had a great variety of options, and every dish was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the marinade on the steak. The attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes was also impressive. Our food was served quickly, and our server was very attentive. It seems like Munay might just become my new favorite spot for Peruvian cuisine!
