Riscky's -b-q - North Richland Hills

Riscky’s Bar B Q on 26 in NRH.Ya’ll I am so disappointed with Riscky’s on 26. It used to be my go to place for beef ribs. My family and I used to joke that they were Brontosaurus ribs and would have them once or twice a month. During the holidays, I would cater in pans of ribs for my entire office… they were so good, I wanted to share the joy.Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve done take out, the ribs have been burnt leathery. The take out boxes were so well wrapped in cellophane, it was too much trouble to check while sitting in the drive thru and once I got home, it was too much trouble to go back.Tonight, we attempted to dine in for better results. No such luck, the ribs were dry, leathery and lacking flavor. I brought it to the managers attention. He was very nice and apologized. He tried to make it right. However, all the ribs that they had on hand were cooked in the same batch and in the same state. All the other ribs were raw and frozen solid. The manger offered us the remaining burnt ribs at no charge. This would have been great had they been edible.Suffice to say, Riscky’s has lost my business. Need ya’lls recommendations for good beef ribs in the area?????

I normally go to the Risckys on Azle Ave , but since i live closer to the one in NRH I go there , but everytime I go which has been a few times , the ribs I get thru the drive thru has more bone than meat , and I go to return them but all they do is switch them around and put 2 that have a little more meat on top , I've been very disappointed with only this location everytime I go , hope something changes soon

For starters, there were flies EVERYWHERE, I had to keep shooing them away to eat my dinner. Several of the tables were dirty, the two girls at the counter were too busy chatting away to wipe any of them down. Speaking of potential health violations, the dark haired girl with glasses and tattoos was eating food at the counter while she was assembling people's food orders!!! The other girl was biting her nails and then handling food items. The food seemed good, hopefully I don't get food poisoning. I won't be going back here again.

The food was horrible. We ordered a rib plate and two chopped beef sandwiches. The worst I've ever had. Fries were cold and Mac cheese is from a box. I would not recommend this place. ???Food: 1/5
