A beautiful and cosy place near the jetty for easy travel
Excellent boutique style guesthouse to traveling friendly trips in thewet, a relaxed and picturesque part of bangkok, but only 15 minutes walk to the tourist area of banglamphu. the pension is a lovingly modernized old colonial Thai style herren house, with comfortable en suite room, soft and clean bed linen and comfortable beds with soft kisses. the guest rooms are cleaned every day and free bottled water. a rich continental breakfast with ice cream, fresh fruit, sweet, juiced and fresh coffee is included in the price. gae’s ground floor coffee shop that opens on the street offers various good coffee and tees and gives great people watching, and this together with an inside terrace with water function and plants improves the relaxing atmosphere. hostien gae is a charming woman, flowing in English and a squandered information about the environment and history of bangkok. she took us on a free guided tour through the local wats, including breakfast on an atmospheric local market on Sunday morning, which was extended by her knowing about the opposite and her history. the guest house has excellent connections to the rest of bangkok, 2 minutes walk from thewet river ferry pier, also directly opposite the start of the free boats to target the channel such as lamphuahong main station, and buses to victory monument, chinatown and anywhere else. also taxis, tuk tuks and moto taxis at the bootsanleger. the opposite is charming and peaceful, with a beautiful flower market next to the canal opposite the guest house, and various other markets, restaurants and street food just a few steps away from the pension. excellent value, and most recommended.
What a lovely and charming restaurant. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The coffee here is exceptional. The new owner is also very friendly and offered me some great tips on navigating the area.
Lovely café with scrumptious pastries. A perfect spot to unwind after a tour along the Krung Kasem canal.
