Bidrage med feedbackAs this is my first visit to a Michelin star restaurant hence my review might not reflect the standard of a proper Michelin star restaurant but if compares to what I had tried in Bangkok for so many years, this restaurant is definitely the best so far. From the moment I made my entry to my table, greetings n smiles are everywhere. Every dish that came out never disappoints. Table service is top rated. The star is Truly deserved I would definitely return again.
Went here last night with my gf. Food was amazing. Completely diff level then the chain thai places in the nice malls that you come across. The lamb curry dish was the best Thai dish ive ever had. Everything we had was very very flavorful. Service was wonderful and very impressive setting. My only small gripe would be on the crab omelette. It was just soso. Id look towards other items on the menu as the menu was extensive.
Delicious refined Thai lunch at his best I enjoy all variety of local dishes produced with care and delicacy. On Sundays this place have a sense of home. Service was nice too The lamb was outstanding
Luckily I was able to make a reservation to try out this One Michelin Star restaurant. The service standard is what you will expect for fine dining. The food is truly deserving of the michelin star and is simply delicious. I strongly recommend the stir fried crab meat in curry powder and the Thai style steam fish souffle. You won't regret it.
I’ll start with what I didn’t like. The reception/management staff were cold and standoffish. When we arrived, there was no one to receive us for about 5 mins, and obviously I understand they were busy, but they also didn’t make eye contact or tell us what to do when they walked by. Also they didn’t acknowledge us when leaving the restaurant. You may think I’m making a fuss out of nothing, but that’s the entire job of reception. That is in very stark contrast to the wait staff, who were very polite and welcoming. That being said, the food was really delicious, well presented, and also surprisingly affordable. The menu is really huge and I think it’s best for groups so you can try more dishes. I’d recommend the crab omelette which was truly outstanding, pomelo salad, and the lamb shank curry. the pad Thai was oddly below par and too sweet. Environment wise, you should make bookings to get the ones at the windows which are more spacious. We were assigned a table near the bar with people constantly walking past and it did not feel exclusive. So basically cheers to the restaurant for keeping prices relatively low, keeping the menu extensive and delicious, but the reception/manager seriously needs to look at their attitude and service standards.
