Honeysuckle Hotel - Newcastle

Had two great meals at the HH. I can highly recommend the hot dog meal and the ribs. Outstanding but can I suggest a bit more chilli concarne on the dog. Don't eat too much before a ribs meal. $7 pints of 150 Lashes on the second night was good value.

Had dinner here , Good menu and quality of food was high. I liked the fact that the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Steak was very tired. Definatley a step up from normal Hotel food

We visited Honeysuckle for lunch & found the hotel to be very warm & welcoming. The staff were very helpful & friendly and there were plenty of tables & chairs. The food menu was quite good with a good variety of dishes to choose from. We chose a few tapas dishes (3 serves for 2 people for $38) and were not disappointed. The drinks were a little more priced than average but overall we enjoyed our visit & will return in future.

Enjoyed fish and chips for lunch on a sunny Saturday meeting up with some old friends. Too many high tables with stools, more normal height tables would be better. One of our party was in a wheelchair so we had to sit upstairs which was fine, but would have preferred to sit outside.

After a couple tries and reading others reviews I'm going to park my butt on the fence at 3 stars.
