Essential Eats Cafe - Newcastle

My son is a huge train enthusiast and I had heard that this restaurant makes amazing milkshakes, so we decided to take a train trip here for brunch and milkshakes as a family outing.

This is one of those unfortunate situations where the quality of the food is overshadowed by the disappointing venue.

The food was presented nicely, but the service was poor and the food had no flavor. The tables were dirty and there were flies buzzing around. Not worth the visit.
