Krua E-San - New Farm

Rainy weather calls for authentic warm Thai food! The panang and duck curries were creamy, full of flavour and generous in serving. Coupled with the delicious coconut rice we were very impressed! The service was friendly and quite fast. Not a huge fan of the fish cakes though. We will definitely come back! All this for $53!

Ok this place needs to be redeemed.. It has got new owners and they have made some serious changes! The menu is still virtually the same, but the new chefs and ataff have put their own personal tweak to every dish. The Yellow curry has got a bit more of a kick in it, but is flavored beautifully, fish cakes are always great here too.. The main guy serving is extremely polite, and will go out of his way to ensure you enjoy it here! I ordered take away once, he said they were extremely busy and it would be about 45 mins, he was able to squeeze my order in and i was out within 20mins.. I go here at least once a month!!!

Food took 2 and 1/2 hours to reach us. We had given up on our delivery and already eaten by the time it showed up. Called Krua E San 10 times. 2 times the line was busy and 8 times it rang and rang until someone hung up. Delivery man was rude and sat outside our house tooting the horn of his motorcycle and yelling. Will not be ordering again, worst service.

Reasonably priced, crispy fresh vegetables, nicely flavoured & served hot! Clear Tom Yum with Prawn, chicken green curry, chicken Penang. Note if you are after authentic Thai with traditional curry flavours this place has their own twist,

Hands down the best Thai in New Farm (there are quite a few) and very good value for money. I've been getting this about once a week (chili and basil) and they jam pack the box for $12.90, feeds my partner and I more than once. Definitely try it out.
