Roger Sherman Inn - New Canaan

Great dinner with friends out on the terrace. There was a private party on the grounds which meant we got to hear some great live music.

Very quick check in and got a very nice table outside on the balcony. Food is fantastic, drinks are solid. Will be coming back!

The Inn has an old fashioned feel with white cloth tablecloths, flowers on the tables, and staff who are well trained and friendly. The food for all four of us was very well prepared and delicious. My duck was tender, ample and well sauced. Everyone was happy our waiter was particularly attentive and helpful.

There is not a better place for charming ambiance, beautifully prepared food and warm and attentive service.

We ordered 2 medium-rare steaks. They were way too cooked. The check arrived before our dessert. Overall, desapponting experience.
