Bidrage med feedbackJust trying 'emma's Buddha Bowl ' to lunch it was really delicious! it has quinoa with cherry, spinach, carrots and sun-dried tomatoes. also had a farm fresh fruit juice, one of my faves, as it has fresh ananas, soursop jackfruit. to dessert they have chia seed cookies, raw balls or mocha muesli bars. not sure what I still have! I'm not vegan, but try some of the vegan dishes here. they also make the niuccino, coffee with cocose milk. I really enjoy eating in bulaccino, it is fresh and tasty and most of the fruit veg comes from their organic farm in nadi. Moreover, the mood is really nice, very relaxed and friendly with a garden area on the back, which is like a small oasis:
Friendly staff with a relaxed atmosphere, more than happy to accommodate for a vegan diet. Menu states that they get some ingredients straight out of the ground from their own organic farm. Highly recommended the Buddha Bowl for a medium sized dinner and one of the selection of the 6 Viti Bowls to finish the meal. Going to come back tomorrow for the breakfast Granola.
I absolutely love this place! It is a fantastic cafe with a large menu and the most veggie vegan stuff I've seen in Fiji! It has really healthy salads and delicious smoothies and smoothie bowls, which are like acai bowls. But then it has a vegan fried breakfast and cookies and these amazing cassava chips with sweet chilli sauce. And the coffee is gorgeous and they use coconut milk as well! The woman who runs the place, Eileen, is absolutely lovely and her two daughters are vegan and one of them made a couple of dishes on the menu! And they have a farm where their fruit and vegetables come from! They have an indoor air conditioned seating area and an outdoor area as well with TVs so you can watch sport. The rugby is on there a lot and normally a few people gather and it's a good atmosphere.
It was wonderful to find a separate vegan menu at a restaurant in Fiji! There were many different options, and what we ordered was very fresh and flavorful, though it could have used a bit less olive oil dressing. The salad was a bit overpriced, as it mostly consisted of greens with very little else. The quinoa bowl was a better choice. Overall, we were pleased to have dined here, and the staff was fantastic!
The focaccia with sun-dried tomatoes and hummus was delightful. The smooth bowls are served in coconut shells, and there's a nice outdoor seating area available.
