Park Inn - München

A typical Park Inn hotel. The hotel is good. Breakfast is delicious and offers a rich selection. The rooms are clean, modern and large. The atmosphere is friendly. Reception staff is accommodated. Reception is open 24 hours. There's a problem here.

First Class Hotel is located in the northeast of Munich. The rooms are comfortable and specially designed for the needs of business travellers. A coffee bar with free hot drinks and the fitness room with sauna invite you to relax. Park Inn is a four-star hotel located on the outskirts of Munich, very conveniently located in the northeast of the city. S8 from Münchner Airport to Herrsching am Ammersee is a short walk from the hotel (S-Bahnstation Johanneskirchen). Accordingly, there can be noise nuisance in the rear rooms, which are only about 30 m away from the railway line. It doesn't bother me because thanks to the air conditioning you can also allow the windows and then hear nothing. The hotel has 167 rooms partly with balcony or terrace, of which 98% are non-smoking rooms. As a smoker, however, there is the possibility to get a smoking room (from the train) or a room with a balcony so that you can smoke outside. The hotel is very modern with some “old” elements that make it very relaxed and very cozy. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and very appealing, bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. You have high-speed internet access either via cable (has forgotten your NW cable, a hotel is in the desk drawer) or WLAN. The air conditioning is easy to regulate, there is a coffee machine, free coffee and tea as well as cups in the room, allegedly also an iron and ironing board, but I did not discover it. The minibar was also not equipped, but switched on. The drinks from the bar can be taken in the room. The hotel also has conference and fitness rooms and a sauna. Bathrobes are available at the reception. Of course there is also a paid underground garage and a restaurant and a bar The staff is very friendly and helpful, constantly with a smile on the lips, so you feel really good here. It is also not to be despised that the well-known restaurant with beer garden “thick Sophie” is located, if you do not want to eat or drink in the restaurant on site, there are Bavarian specialities and a beautiful beer garden.

This hotel was really not good. We stayed only one night luckily. The beds were not good quality beds and also the bedding was bad quality. The aircon was not really very efficient and we were very hot and stuffy in room. The wifi was very slow and basically useless. The food was average. Really not a good stay

I was booked this hotel through work. From the airport take the train vs a cab, when you get off at the station its only a 5 minute walk to the hotel, if that.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and mine even had a mini kitchen in it. The bar was quiet with just a few travelers inside, but across the street there is another bar to look into. Breakfast was provided at no charge and was a buffet with many options; you should not leave hungry. There is a beer vending machine in the lobby along with a snack machine. Free newspapers are up front as well.

This is a high rise hotel in the heart of Munich. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony (I previously asked for this type of room). The room was clean and spacious. It was decorated in Red which I did not find soothing but it looked fine.I would suggest seeking a room on a higher floor. Check in and check out went without any problem. The hotel was located close to mass transit and this is another reason why I selected it.
