Bolder Food/drink - Mt Airy

My daughter has a gluten allergy, so she ordered a burger with a gluten-free bun. Unfortunately, the restaurant served her a regular bun instead. Luckily, she had only taken a few bites before realizing the mistake. The manager, Ellie, was not very understanding when the waitress and I informed her of the error. She was rude in her response and even asked if we needed to call 911. It seems that the staff may need better training on how to handle food allergies. This is a serious issue and should be treated as such. We will not be returning to this restaurant and I will be sure to let others know about their negligence in dealing with food allergies.

Consistently good food, drinks, and service. Bolder offers a great core menu with rotating weekly specials and a broad selection of desserts (try the bread pudding you won 't regret it) and after dinner drinks. Highly recommend the crispy brussel sproutsappetizer, the bold fashioned, and the salmon with seasonal risotto. The beef medallions and cornbread crusted chicken neverdisappoint, but always happy to try something new. Truly never a bad experience at Bolder!

My group of 12 went to this restaurant for a birthday brunch. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. Cheryl, our server, was fantastic. She was friendly and very accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by some other patrons during a wine tasting at a nearby winery. Food was great our waitress was nice. Love the avocado egg rolls! The start of the experience was less thanpleasant. We were polite told the hostess we were ok with waiting for a table since we didn?t have a reservation?-not aproblem for us. However, the manager was a nasty, waxen woman. She told our waitress to make we were served out within anhour as we were being seated. Really???!!!!!!! We took our time made sure she saw us eating very slowly. She made sure weweren?t offered any dinner rolls as she stomped around the restaurant. The ?apology? below from the manager is 100% false sotypical of people like her when they are called out for their ugly behavior ? happy dining!

The food and cocktails at this restaurant are great. We usually like to sit outside when the weather is nice. The menu offers a good variety and everything we have tried so far has been delicious.
