Taqueria La Bamba - Mount Vernon

I ordered pozole to go and I was very surprised how delicious it was. The portion was big which allowed me to save half for the next day. They packaged it in a plastic tub with plastic wrap so there was no spillage. It came with tostadas, three sauces, cabbage onions and radishes. I’m so glad I found a place that makes great pozole.

I want red sauce on my enchilada. Not ketchup! Isn't the first time I have ordered something authentic. Grose me out! No wonder there is nobody there.

I had ordered a few tacos and a burrito to go. So I sit and start waiting..... while waiting 4 local customers walk in and order and proceed to sit down. After the other large party got served tons of food....I go up to the counter to ask how much longer. She says they haven't started my order yet..... I was incredibly disappointed and hungry. So I asked for my money back and left the restaurant. I'll never go back. And you shouldn't go there either!!!

Josue from Osborne Seed took me here while on business. Very good food. Spicy from what I remember also. Would definitely go back if ever in the area again.

Food itself tastes good, but just know you will get sick the next day. Not very sanitary.
