Dejaxo - Mount Hawthorn

Eating was a little expensive. I would have overlooked if the service was good, but it was nothing to write home. coffee was not bad, but the milk tasted a little strange.

This is one of our favorite cafes. we love it that it has the child-friendly Alfresco area that thinks my little one is busy for age. the coffee is always excellent. I had never burned one before. my favorite piece is the sausage roll. they taste delicious, and have small pieces of light spicy chorizo in the meat mix. the baked is always light and fluffy. my daughters are the funny face cookies. she swallows every visit. the service is always great, always friendly, and they never have to wait long until their order comes out.

Came here with a friend to brunch. the service was ok, but a little slow. my friend older the müsli and I decided to eier on toast with speck, but I was informed that they really had run out of speck on Saturday? the command of my friend came out first and then came about 10-15 minutes later mine. it was ok/loved, but quite average.

The great thing about this place is the toys available outside for the kids. The bad thing is the lack of railings between the concrete area where the toys is and the grass area. So it is a potentially dangerous place to be for younger toddlers. They let us drag tables from inside the cafe out to where the toys were so we adults can have a chat whilst our little boy plays. Food and drink prices is average for perth. We had curried pie which we shared with our then 2 year old. Must say that particular food was a bit average.

Terrible terrible service at Carine!!! young girl on counter obviously hadn't been trained properly but her supervisor/ peer on coffee machine should have assisted her if needed when asked what muffins I was rudely told to read the board Hot coffee was put in front of my son [who then proceeded to put him hand in it cos toddlers are super fast quiche came out cold?? then forgotten about when requested to be heated and then told they were closing in 10mins?! poor service, poor quality food maybe we got them on a bad day but we still wont return
