Cafe Hotel des Voyageurs

Visiting Montbrun for a pumpkin festival, we came across this delightful restaurant in the centre of the village. Professionally appointed and decked out for Halloween, the lunch menu was varied and interesting, service good and the food nicely prepared. Well worth a detour.

Food was nice and nice place to eat. We arrived at p.m and restaurant was quiet. We ordered fairly quickly and the starter and main course arrived promptly. Food was good. It started to get disappointing we had to wait about minutes for...main course plate to be cleared. We had to ask to get a main course plate cleared. At the tables that arrived later would get better service. We were a table of Disappointing experience as the food is good but would not recommend. Waitress I was busy but was not observing whole landscape. Other places which are not as glamorous as this in the town would be much better to go to

We stopped by today for their euro course lunch special. Salad and jambon with a tasty dressing to start, duck and cous cous for main, and my husband and I shared a chocolat tart, and a meringue citron. Amazing. The restaurant was full,...but the staff seemed relaxed and friendly even though very busy. Tastefully decorated inside and very cosy in the winter months.

Very good French/local food with very friendly staff. Very Reasonably priced for the food/service. Very nice decoration and outside space.

We arrived last minute at both hotel and restaurant after a bad experience elsewhere. Very good value menu, excellent service and a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was small and basic but impeccably clean. Lovely family run establishment. No TV or Wi-Fi in the...rooms but good Wi-Fi in the communal areas of the hotel and a TV lounge is available to guests.
