The Sloop Inn - Monmouthshire

Not a vast menu, but caters for vegetarians and vegans as well, which is always welcome. Food was all freshly cooked and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Made an impromptu brunch stop here and so glade we did . Nice big car park opposite the pub and a lovely beer garden, with a slabbed out patio area or you can sit on tables in the grassed part which offers you more space or obviously inside the pub itself . We both had a lovely steak baguette, plenty of meat and nice bread. Good speedy service despite being busy and really friendly staff so a great place to stop if you’re driving between Monmouth and Tintern.

Located on the A40 with a car park across the road, this restaurant offers all-day Sunday dining and is a great place to stop. The menu is diverse, including a vegan option, the staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, and the beer is top-notch. Plus, it's reasonably priced.

A great spot for a bite to eat or a drink following a long walk. A great selection of sandwiches, ciabatta and hot meals.

I stopped by for a drink and Sunday lunch in a peaceful atmosphere where the food is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly.
