Bidrage med feedbackThe best place in Modica to eat and spend some unique hours! everything you try is delicious, a great environment to enjoy
I 'm not sure how chicken wings, hamburgers and tacos fit into Japanese or Sicilian cuisine. I would suggest they pick a cuisine and learn how to cook it and specialize in one cuisine. The only sushi they offer is salmon with avocado roll... didn 't try it, not worth it. Ordered chicken wings: they were out. One of the main dishes was listed as served with a mango salsa but they were out of mango and served it with blood oranges instead. The fried cheese is 4 very very small squares or battered Brie fried ... do not recommend. The tacos had a piece of frozen fried cod ... do not recommend. The edamame was delicious! We finished dinner more like an overpriced appetizer and went on the search for pizza because we were hungry.
First of all, go here if you want something other than pasta or pizza, but still with sicilian fresh products. Luca the chef is a crazy (but wonderful) dude who gave us a memorable night with great food and many laughs. Just get drunk on a lot of negronis and see what happens!!
Sicilians are so proud of their traditional cuisine that the last thing I expected to find was a fusion restaurant. KuFu masters this challenge perfectly well. They have several menus, depending on the time of day (café during the day, dinner in the evening, bar food late at night). Each of them offers a perfect blend of local and Japanese specialties, carefully chosen and perfectly arranged. I came for dinner and was more than happy with this creative choice. I had Udon with tuna and especially loved the chocolate cake for desert. My personal highlight was the super friendly, warm and personal service they definitely makes me want to come back.
We had a wonderful dinner made special by unique additions and the passion of the proprietor chef Luca.
