Heritage Fish & Chips - Mississauga

That was the worst we had. The fish was dry, oil was not fresh. That was an absolute disaster until the food goes. Many batters and small fish.

My family ordered the healbutt and chips with mozzarella sticks as a side. We used SkIpTheDishes to have delivered our meal to our house. When I arrived, I realized there were no chips with our fish. When I called Heritage, they kindly told me the...mistake I had made during the order by the delivery app, and they told me to place a single order for chips, and they give us a family share due to the inconvenience. When I checked back to the app, I realized what I had done wrong, and I thought that would be an excellent customer service for them if it was something I had done wrong. Everything came very hot, fresh and tasty as usual.

We had a wonderful experience with Heritage Fish and Chips on Derry! My mother loves fish and chips, but her old favorite restaurant has closed a few years ago, and we didn't have much luck with others we tried. We called Heritage to help us with food for her birthday and the manager, Marlena, was so friendly and accommodating. She went beyond and beyond to make sure that all our food was absolutely perfect!!! I have no idea how she did it with so many orders, but the whole food was warm, crispy and absolutely amazing! Really delicious fish! So happy we found this place. It immediately became the new Fave of my mother!!!

It came out tonight from this place where you had a very pale and oily dinner. Warned! The staff is selective in which they want to be friendly. I was treated differently than the other males (all Caucasians) who were all asked how their meals were, greeted beautifully and wished a nice evening with requests to write good online reviews as they remained. I was 100% polite for her, but got no word in the way. Even when I had ordered, they called out my number while others were previously called for food type. Been in Canada my whole life as a minority, but was really surprised and stung by this. Even if you believe that there is no unjustified customer service in this restaurant, you will still notice that your food is really below average compared to the other different fish and chip restaurants in Mississauga. The most disturbing thing was that they didn't change their oil, so everything had a dirty dark brown color. This place of heritage is clearly different from the others. And not in a good way, sad. You'd be smart to go to any other fish and chip connection.

OK fish and chips but not as good as the other location, seems pricier too. Small eat in area more like a fast food place without fast food price. Disappointing after experiencing the Brampton location.
