Travellers Rest - Mirfield

This is a great spot for drinks with good parking and beautiful views. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The tapas was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the nachos as the cheese sauce tasted strange. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant.

This restaurant has a beautiful view and offers great value. We tried the light lunch menu which included soup, a main course, and ice cream for only £6.49! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

The restaurant offers a great selection of food clearly explained on the menu, all cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly and polite, and there is ample parking available. It is easily accessible from Huddersfield or Dewsbury, with exceptional disabled access. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Outside seating is available, and children and dogs are welcome. The toilets are clean, and the restaurant has a lovely countryside setting with rustic decor.

Great local pub. We went for a special occasion and all had Sunday Roast. Food was lovely. They even brought out extra veg for us. We had one person in a wheelchair and this was accommodated. Nice atmosphere and staff were great! Attentive and efficient. Great dessert choices too. Hard to choose which to have.
