Bidrage med feedbackVocation is a popular local bar in Hebden Bridge known for its friendly atmosphere and great selection of beers and food. It can get busy on weekends but is easier to find a table during the week since they have expanded their seating area. They offer a variety of Vocation beers, collaborations, and guest beers, as well as other drinks. The prices are on the higher side, but that seems to be common in the area. Some customers miss the previous menu of authentic Mexican food, as the current menu mainly consists of burgers and loaded fries. However, the vegan duck fries are a standout option for meat eaters.
I had a wonderful experience at this bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice and they had an excellent selection of beers to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were told to try their burgers and they were delicious, served promptly. I highly recommend this place!
Excellent range of beers from lager, pale ales, IPA, sour ales and stouts. Most from own brewery, but also guest breweries such as Deya and Heist. Burger and fries also very good
Enjoyable evening with good burgers and loaded fries served. We’d booked a table, so had table service which was appreciated on a busy Saturday evening. Lovely beer of course
Our last visit was on Friday 15th September. We live in Hebden Bridge love the ecletic mix of bars restaurants. Vocation has an impresive selection of over twenty beers has its place in the town, catering for the metropolitan recent arrivals discernible by their lack of any regional accent slightly entiteled demeanor. The interior is a little on the minimalist side not over comfortable certainly not cosy. Having said that we visit on a regular basis to enjoy the beer eavesdrop on the occasional pretencious conversation. My only real issue with the place is the surlyness of the staff, not all but in general, who act as though they are there under sufferance without any welcoming smile or gesture. This is easily remedied by a lead from the managment once witnessed by the staff is infectious, it's not a big thing but would make the Vocation experience a whole lot more enjoyable.
