Bidrage med feedbackPizza hut has always been one of my favourite pizza places, but the last time we were in the milton location, it was a little off. Is it under new management maybe? Also, miss the sit down feel
Of the chain pizza joints that dot the GTA and most major cities across North America, Pizza Hut held a distinct spot amongst the pizza heavyweights because of their distinct greasy pies and the fact that they used to be their own stand-alone restaurants (you remember those Pizza Hut restos with the distinct red tin roofs? . The chain has undergone a massive makeover in recent years and gone are the red roof restaurants. Well perhaps not entirely disappeared, but certainly not as many as existed before. There was one in Meadowvale in the Battleford Plaza that I used to frequent as a high schooler just for the all you can eat buffet where customers could carb load on garlic bread sticks and as many slices as you could shove into your mouth as we as a salad and pasta bar. But alas, this no longer exists and most Pizza Hut franchises have been relegated to exclusively take-out joints and deliveries with no in-house seating, and certainly no buffet. Pizza Hut pizza set itself apart from other pizzas because of its greasy, oily, crispy crust. The pizza was cooked in a deep dish pan and it gave it a distinct taste that was unlike any other take out pizza. We ordered from the Pizza Hut Express coming home from hockey at the Milton Sports Centre just down the road on a Tuesday evening. The online ordering system is straight forward and easy to use and we had no problem with placing our order. This Pizza Hut is located in a busy plaza on Scott and Derry with plenty of parking. We ended up ordering one of their family meal deals which came with 2 medium pizzas (8 slices each , chicken tenders, garlic bread sticks; two dipping sauces and a chocolate chip dessert cookie thing. It came out to just over $38. We got our food home and the meal was more or less gut fill with nothing particularly memorable about it. It didn't have the same greasy crust and was somehow less oily if that makes any sense? The crust was much more doughy and fluffy than what I remember and was not the same as the one from my youth. Even though I'm sure it's probably a smidgeon healthier, that's not what I wanted! I wanted the grease! Anyway, it was average and not particularly good. In the future, I think I'll pass and head over to Longos or even Sobeys and get something to eat from there...
After a very long time this was the only and last time i order from Pizza hut, you have to order online, the pizza turned up one is wrong went back to the store and they were arguing with me about the order, still the 2nd time was wrong, call customer service for pizza hut and lodged a complaint against the store but no feed back. The pizza was bad the chess had fatty taste to it the crust was ok. For me i will never ever order pizza hut again.
We ordered a pizza online and made a mistake. When the pizza was delivered, it was not what we wanted. We called to inform the person online, who said they would deliver another one but we had to pay an additional two dollars. We explained that the delivery was supposed to be included in the price and that we had already tipped the driver an additional six dollars. We had already paid at least 9 dollars, why did they want more? While the person was not rude, they did not seem to care whether we were satisfied or not. This happened on December 22, 2017 at 5:30 pm. We will never go back there and will warn others about the poor service. Additionally, the quality of the pizza is inconsistent, sometimes good and sometimes bad.
I absolutely love the pizza at Pizza Hut, especially the pan crust which is my favorite. They always load it up with generous amounts of cheese. My only issue is with the prices, but ordering online often comes with specials that make it more affordable.
