Casa Americo - Milton

I had high hopes for a delicious meal at this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. I had not eaten since breakfast in anticipation, but the meal turned out to be mediocre. The lamb rack was flaccid, tasteless, and flabby, with improperly trimmed fat and a lack of salt and rosemary as promised. The pasta "upgrade" was priced at $30+ and did not meet my expectations. The Caesar salad was decent, but overpriced at $13. No one in my group was willing to pay $12 for a slice of cake. The food prices were unreasonable, in my opinion. It's time to take down the Valentine's Day decor. I will not be returning for another meal.

My wife and I dined at Casa America on Saturday, August 13, 2022. I ordered the penne chicken supreme and my wife ordered the penne alla vodka. After cutting into the chicken breast, I discovered it was raw. I informed the waiter, who initially seemed unaware of the issue. After a long wait and minimal resolution, we were still charged full price for my meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We stumbled upon downtown old Milton and found Main St. full of restaurants, Cafes, shops etc spilling out onto the sidewalks. Casa Americo has both indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived on a Saturday night at 600pm and were able to sit outside without a reservation. The street traffic can be a bit noisy but we enjoyed the summer evening. A pretty full menu of traditional Italian dishes plus daily specials. Reasonably priced wines by the glass and half carafe as well. We had a decent chardonnay half carafe for $22. The ceasar salads were delicious and plentiful, $13. We chose a pasta Primavera $18 and a chicken parmesan $23 as our mains. Huge portions, with friendly flavours that you might expect. All in for $100 before the tip. Good value, good flavours, and a to go box for lunch tomorrow!

When ever I'm in Milton I try to get out to this restaurant. Great food and service. There are fancier places to go, but I'm always happy with the service, value and food! Fantastic appetizers that we often just have for dinner!
