Bidrage med feedbackI had the sweetest server with familiar family type environment. I ate the Corqueta sandwich with a coffee con leche. My food was hot and delicious. I cannot wait to come back.Cash Only place but so worth it(NOT expensive)
Ok, so the food is LOUSY. Meat was dry and barely room temp. The yellow rice was the only edible selection we made. They did remove 2 meals off the check, but charging $3.00 for each bottle of water. 5 bottles, yes $15 for water. Place is a complete tourist RIPP !Do NOT EAT HERE !Music was good and my beer was cold.STAY AWAY !
When a place has good food and service, they will never stop seeing my face. This cafeteria is my go-to breakfast. I loved their food so much it tastes heavenly. The staff was so friendly and nice to me. She made sure that I had everything on my table. The owner was so welcoming to its customers.
Fast service and good food! I think this cafeteria has it all, and I'm blessed because they were able to satisfy my hunger and quench my thirst. The foods they served was really fantastic, and the servers are really impressive with their job. I will surely recommend them to anyone I know! I am deeply satisfied!
The term hidden gem is so overused in this day and age, and in all of my vocabulary, I can’t find another term else to describe Rocio. If you ever walk into a restaurant/establishment and thought “Hey, this feels very homely” the same exact feeling will be replicated when you walk in through the door, the decor isn’t decor, it is life and experiences and feelings and hope among the walls. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a memento, a reminder of how warm and cozy a place of business can make you long for a home that you can remember or assimilate the feeling of what a hispanic household can pertain. The food here is simple, it’s homely, it’s safe, and don’t go looking for some artisan chef to be flambé’ing some grass fed cattlefed yadda yadda, besides, you’re in historic and cultural Eight Street in Miami, why would you be looking for a confit of sorts??If you know the central american classics, you’ll know what you’re getting into, the sandwiches are the same from other locations, because let’s be honest, why fix something that isn’t broken? The Cafe con Leche is exactly what you know is going to taste like, and the seviceOh boy, the serviceQuite possibly, the best service you’re going to receive on Eight Street, the staff there definitely cares about what you eat, and how you like your food, genuine interest is a character of actually caring about your guests, and Rocio definitely makes you feel warm, by the walls, the food, the small 24” TV in the background playing some Univision talk show that you’re now invested in, because this place feels like a home you didn’t understand could exist. If you happen to stroll down the Eight heading to Brickell on a weekend or a weekday, just pop in. Order a croqueta preparada and a Cafe con Leche, and tell me those $10 weren’t worth the experience. I’ll refund you your money if you want. In a vast array of up and coming restaurants and restauranteurs, Rocio stands true to what they are.Comfort, good food, good service, and at the end of the day, “Que Dios los bendiga”
